Welcome to Tepezcohuite-MHRB.com as we carry “only” the finest Brazilian “root” bark powder available. MHRB stands for Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark and obviously is the root bark from the Minosa Hostilis Tree.

We never carry any tree bark, we carry “only” the root bark since we feel that since the roots contact the soil (where all the minerals/etc. are) directly, they will have the highest concentration of nutrients.

Make your own skin care product from this high quality purple fine “root” bark powder from Brazil. MHRB is for external use ONLY. The powder is like dust which is necessary when mixing with oil for soaps and skin care products…

SKIN TREE

The Tepezcohuite or MHRB is also known in some areas of the world as the Skin Tree, whose barks has significant anti-microbial properties, analgesic and regenerative cells.

The qualities of tepezcohuite are widely recognized for its therapeutic action in various ailments and injuries, but mostly for burns. The powdered bark of tepezcohuite have large amounts of tannins that act as astringents, causing the skin to stop bleeding and protect the body from infection. We like to use this product to help prevent hair lose on the crown of the head and on facial skin to help prevent wrinkles.

Tepezcouite extract contains flavonoids that decrease capillary permeability and increases its resistance and protect the skin from aging. It also has micronutrients such as zinc, copper, manganese, iron and magnesium, which play an important role in the repair and cellular protection.

The tepezcohuite is an excellent cell regenerator, an anti-bacterial 300% more effective than streptomycin, and a powerful fungicide.

The active ingredients of the tepezcohuite bark are bioflavonoids and tannins. It also has abundant saponosids and alkaloids (indolalquilamina and other minor alkaloids). The tepezcohuite is effective as an analgesic, bacteriostatic (active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria), fungal, being indicated for burns, pressure ulcers or varicose wounds (it has been used as a healing after plastic surgery), scald, ringworm, blotches, sunburn, acne scarring, ichthyosis and psoriasis.
